Job Requirements
- Prior relevant experience as a prep cook or similar role preferred
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 30 lbs
- Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently with kitchen equipment
- Strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for dishes including cutting chopping and measuring ingredients
- Follow recipes and directions provided by the head chef to ensure that all dishes are prepared consistently and to high quality standards
- Work with other kitchen staff members to ensure that all elements of the meal including sides and sauces are prepared in a timely manner
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area including proper storage and labeling of all food items
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of all kitchen equipment including knives cutting boards and food processors
- Ensure that all food waste is minimized and disposed of properly
