Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as cook
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to follow sanitation procedures strictly
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform moderate physical work including lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to maintain food handlers or managers certificate
  • Willingness to comply with club policies and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as cook
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bake ware
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods including grilling, baking, boiling
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Very good communication skills
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage

Job Duties

  • Comply with written standardized food recipes and beverages to ensure the production of consistent quality and portion control
  • Washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, measuring ingredients and seasonings, and labeling and stocking ingredients
  • Receives and checks food and supplies into the kitchen and storerooms including inspecting condition of contents, checking against invoices and orders, and freshness of product
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas as instructed by the Chef or General Manager
  • Complete opening and closing checklists as outlined by the Chef or General Manager
  • Protect the assets of the Club
  • Operate within guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as established by Hampton Golf
  • Maintain Food Handlers or Managers Certificate
  • Assist with other duties as needed
