Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum six months of high-volume food prep experience in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar institution
- Certificate in food service sanitation (ServSafe or equivalent) within 90 days of hire
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Skill in proper knife handling techniques
- Flu vaccination required

Job Duties
- Sets up station according to daily production needs
- Prepares the ingredients for meals including chopping fruits and vegetables, preparing meats, and measuring items
- Assists in preparing food products as scheduled in the cycle menu to include breakfast, lunch, and dinner service and any catering or other special functions
- Follows proper handling, preparation, and holding guidelines, takes temperatures at regular intervals, and maintains foods in sufficient quantities while minimizing over-production and waste
- Follows kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule
