Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Food Services role
  • Active ServSafe certification
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Boca Raton, FL
  • Strong attention to food quality and safety standards
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen and operational staff
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods and lifting

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Food Services role
  • Active ServSafe certification
  • Work experience in a residential setting preferably in the field of substance use disorder or mental health treatment

Job Duties

  • Work in collaboration with the Chef to help with the development of menus
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining room and kitchen in accordance with sanitary, national, and local standards
  • Requisition food supplies and equipment
  • Inspect and taste food for quality
  • Help in the ordering of food as needed by Director of Food Services
  • Inspect and supervise serving of food
  • Be responsible for quality and quantity of food served
  • Assure preparation of sufficient quantities of food in time to meet meal schedules
  • Assure storage of perishables and avoidance of food spoilage and waste
