Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior food service experience preferred
  • ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with occasional evenings
  • ability to comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations
  • must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Prior food service experience preferred
  • ability to follow recipes and production instructions
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work well in a team environment
  • basic math skills for measuring and portioning
  • willingness to learn and be trained on job procedures

Job Duties

  • Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the chef
  • prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
  • completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
  • operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use
  • stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy
  • follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
  • takes orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
  • serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner
  • completes orders from steam tables and grill and serves customers at multiple stations
  • uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
  • resolves customer concerns
  • performs other duties as assigned
