Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- constant standing, walking, stooping
- constant reaching, handling product
- employment starts mid-September through April, possibly May
- hours vary based on needs
- must be able to work irregular hours including nights and weekends based on facility event schedule
Job Qualifications
- Ability to produce high quality food in a fast-paced environment
- one year minimum experience in a kitchen environment
- basic baking and dessert production
- strong knife skills
- strong knowledge of sanitary practices
- maintains proper grooming and dress code standards
- ability/accommodation to travel to and from work in a timely manner
- work ethic that encourages a strong sense of urgency and quality in a team environment
Job Duties
- Assists in the preparation of cut vegetables, salad prep, and hot/cold sauces
- production of baked goods and a variety of desserts
- always maintains an organized sanitary workstation
- properly label and date food items for storage
- uses cutlery, kitchen equipment, and machinery
- assists in the delivery of prepped food items to a variety of locations throughout the arena
- assists with truck deliveries and proper stock rotation
- minimizes waste by following established production techniques
- follows approved recipes and production standards
- other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef and/or the Director of Food & Beverage
