Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
Ability to stand for long periods
Must be able to handle kitchen tools safely

Job Duties

Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.
Prepare salads, sauces, dressings, etc.
Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they are organized and easily accessible
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing cooking and food storage areas
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement
Relieve cooks and waitresses for breaks
