Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of relevant experience in food preparation
  • ability to work varied shifts based on operational needs
  • physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • attention to detail and focus on food safety
  • willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training
  • reliable and punctual attendance

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year of progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
  • familiarity with kitchen equipment and food safety standards
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to follow recipes and maintain portion control
  • commitment to quality and consistency

Job Duties

  • prepare food items needed for meal service while following established recipes and portion control guidelines
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen prep area
  • assist with inventory management and proper storage of ingredients
  • follow food safety and sanitation policies
  • support team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
  • participate in culinary training and professional development courses
  • help monitor quality and presentation of food items
