Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience working in food service environment
  • high school diploma preferred
  • verbal and written communication is essential
  • experience in dealing with customer service problems
  • basic mathematical skills
  • food handlers permit as required by law
  • brand certification as required
  • ability to remember menu items
  • ability to operate point of sale systems
  • ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • experience handling customer service issues
  • basic math skills for cash register operation
  • valid food handlers permit
  • brand certification as needed
  • ability to memorize and promote menu items
  • proficient with point of sale systems

Job Duties

  • Prepare, serve, sell, and maintain food and beverage items
  • take orders and receive vendor deliveries
  • clean food items and work areas
  • greet guests courteously and friendly
  • follow recipes and practice portion control
  • maintain kitchen/station setup including requisitioning and stocking supplies
  • handle, store, and rotate products properly
  • complete shift prep sheets and checklists
  • maintain and clean machinery and equipment
  • manage perishables stock, cutting, and storage
  • perform cleaning tasks to meet health standards
  • organize and clean work and storage areas
  • communicate with manager upon shift start and end
