Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role advantageous but not required

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh ingredients for menu items
  • Follow three key rules: prioritize customer satisfaction, maintain cleanliness and organization, have fun at work
  • Assist in preparing home-made meals with fresh, never frozen ingredients
  • Ensure meals are served hot and up to Chuy's quality standards
  • Make signature sauces and desserts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas
  • Support team members during service times
