Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
- Food handler’s certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required
- Basic knife skills and food handling knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on tasks proactively
- Food handler’s certification
Job Duties
- Wash peel chop and portion vegetables fruits and proteins according to kitchen standards
- Prepare sauces dressings and other basic components as directed
- Assist with stock rotation and ingredient inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas and storage
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures diligently
- Support chefs and line cooks by ensuring timely prep of ingredients
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed
- Wash and season sushi rice
- Clean various fish and seafood
- Adhere to all kitchen safety and hygiene protocols
