Job Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
- Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure
- Valid BCLS certification upon employment
- ACLS certification as required by facility

Job Duties
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care
- Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit in collaboration with other management members
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary
- Support efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing nursing strategies including employee and hourly rounding
- Provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, including handling conflict resolution and performance evaluations
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines
- Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment
