Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience in food and beverage or hospitality industry
  • valid food handling or alcohol service permit as required
  • proficiency with computers and data entry
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods and work event-based schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent attendance and punctuality
  • ability to manage and lead teams effectively
  • adherence to company policies and safety regulations

  • ability to communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management, and guests
  • ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by regulations
  • ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
  • ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS transactions, cash reconciliation, and inventory
  • at least 1-2 years experience in a supervisory role in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment or applicable education

Job Duties

  • Oversee the setup of food and beverage service areas within clubs based on specific event needs
  • ensure all clubs are set prior to event
  • ensure quality and hospitality throughout all Premium Club areas
  • maintain communication between counterparts of the department
  • organize and prepare events
  • supervise team members on non-event and event days
  • direct inquiries not related to food and beverage to the correct personnel
  • monitor and maintain food quality
  • assist management with monitoring department policies and procedures, safety and sanitation standards
  • maintain and enforce cash handling policies
  • monitor and enforce safe alcohol policies
  • maintain inventory control and product requisition
  • have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items
  • supervise the service of beverages including alcoholic beverages and verify guest IDs
  • observe guests to respond to additional requests
  • supervise the setup of club functions including linens, dishware, glassware, and silverware
  • maintain sanitation, health and safety standards
  • meet company standards for attendance
  • ensure location equipment is operable and clean before events
  • recognize and take action against visibly intoxicated guests
  • enforce all company policies and procedures
  • practice excellent human resources skills including employee relations and corrective actions
  • assist management with projects including training, inventory, and special events
  • perform all other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
