Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and guests
- ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
- must be available to work nights and weekends
- must maintain excellent attendance
- must be able to stand for extended periods
- must acquire required food and alcohol certifications
Job Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma, G.E.D. or related food service job experience
- ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment
- ability to speak, read and write in English
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- must acquire and maintain a food handlers card, alcohol awareness certification, and other required compliance trainings, if required by state and federal regulations
- experience working in a restaurant as a bus person or similar capacity is preferred
Job Duties
- Maintains knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered
- provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to guests and is able to communicate clearly with all customers and staff
- responsible for transportation of food from kitchen to suite areas
- ensures that food items are served at proper temperatures and immediately upon availability from the kitchen, as ordered by the customer
- responsible for keeping the suite work areas and equipment clean
- ensures neat presentation of all ordered items, with no spill-over
- pre-buses tables and full buses tables when necessary
- responsible for cleaning up remaining food product and equipment after the guests have left
- maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- maintains a professional and clean appearance
- must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance
