Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and guests
  • ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
  • must be available to work nights and weekends
  • must maintain excellent attendance
  • must be able to stand for extended periods
  • must acquire required food and alcohol certifications

Job Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma, G.E.D. or related food service job experience
  • ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment
  • ability to speak, read and write in English
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • must acquire and maintain a food handlers card, alcohol awareness certification, and other required compliance trainings, if required by state and federal regulations
  • experience working in a restaurant as a bus person or similar capacity is preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintains knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered
  • provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to guests and is able to communicate clearly with all customers and staff
  • responsible for transportation of food from kitchen to suite areas
  • ensures that food items are served at proper temperatures and immediately upon availability from the kitchen, as ordered by the customer
  • responsible for keeping the suite work areas and equipment clean
  • ensures neat presentation of all ordered items, with no spill-over
  • pre-buses tables and full buses tables when necessary
  • responsible for cleaning up remaining food product and equipment after the guests have left
  • maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
  • maintains a professional and clean appearance
  • must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance
