Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED strong preferred
  • minimum of one year of work experience in events, banquets or restaurants preferred
  • must be able to obtain food handling and alcohol safety certification
  • must be able to complete background check
  • ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach out to the body, arms and/or legs
  • must be able to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects up to 30 lbs often
  • ability to work on a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • punctual with consistent attendance

Job Duties

  • Ability to read and understand suite orders and banquet event orders
  • provide exceptional hospitality to guests in suites, club spaces, and event areas throughout the ballpark
  • assist with setup of catering stations, buffets, beverage areas, and suites according to event specifications and presentation standards
  • assist with breakdown of catering setups including disposing of waste and returning equipment
  • assist with breakdown of suites setups including disposing of waste and returning equipment
  • assist setup of food service areas within specific suites and club areas based upon pre-order
  • follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
  • communicate effectively with supervisors, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
  • maintain friendly and professional contact with guests ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met
  • handle guest concerns or special requests courteously and escalate issues to management when needed
  • ability to multitask and work independently during slower times
  • help provide a safe and clean work environment for both the front and back of the house
  • maintain a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude
  • read with oral and written communication skills in English
  • knowledge of basic arithmetic
