Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol laws
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Strong cash handling skills

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work self-directed within a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide described service
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following proper state and federal procedures
  • Knowledge and suggestive upselling of various beer, wine, and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly adhering to company serving size standards
  • Verify guest IDs according to legal age requirements
  • Communicate drink cut-offs to guests when necessary
  • Address customer requests and concerns promptly
  • De-escalate intoxicated guests and involve management or security as needed
  • Request restocking of bar products when required
  • Handle cash accurately and manage bar cash bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and bar equipment
  • Perform bar setup and breakdown and assist with cooler organization
