Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- at least 1 year of bartending experience
- TIPs or TEAM certification required or must be willing to complete training
- must be available for all event days and able to work long shifts of 10-12 hours
- ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- ability to work in fast-paced and sometimes outdoor environments
- strong communication and customer service skills
- good personal grooming and hygiene
- ability to follow federal, local, and venue alcohol policies
- must be dependable and responsible
- excellent time management and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of bartending experience
- must be TIPs/TEAM certified (will accept Team certification or will provide training)
- knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required
- knowledge of alcohol compliance and safety
- must be available all event days and willing to work extended shift hours
- must be extremely hardworking and organized
- must be exceedingly responsible and accountable
- maintain good grooming and personal hygiene
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent listening and communication skills
- renowned time management and organization skills
- strong customer service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs
- the ability to work alone and as a team
- strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
Job Duties
- Responsible for both pre and post bar set-up and breakdown responsibilities
- sets bar up in a timely manner, including icing down product
- communicates well with bar back personnel during the event to assist them with replenishment during shift
- greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service
- attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event
- cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice
- record closing inventory
- responsible for putting away all inventory as directed
- follows all federal, local, and venue alcohol policies
