Job Requirements

  • Minimum education level of a BA/BS degree preferred
  • Minimum of 4-6 years related work experience
  • Experience with event management in sports and/or entertainment industry preferred
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Ability to learn required business systems
  • Ability to prioritize and solve problems efficiently and quickly
  • Highly organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and quick learner
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Assertive, self-motivated, and self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to professionally handle highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of management and clients
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and all events as required
  • Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Job Duties

  • Budget, develop and execute all premium events and trips for members alongside the Manager, Premium Hospitality & Events
  • Monitor all phases of event creation, including but not limited to sales, planning, marketing, servicing, and administrative procedures
  • Assist in organization and fulfillment of member gifting as well as the preservation of relationships with gifting vendors
  • Collaborate with various departments within the company to perform internal prospecting events and provide retention strategies for the sales team
  • Act as the main point of contact for the arena and manage CRM system to track guest lists through activities during event process
  • Create and budget department specific events and outings including retreats, incentive trips, and holiday parties
  • Research internal event ideas and locations proactively
  • Work and attend premium events and trips while cultivating strong relationships to ensure smooth flow
  • Participate in services meetings supporting event, hospitality, and renewal experience information
  • Provide thorough run of show details
  • Maintain relationships with event experts to stimulate collaboration and creativity
  • Ensure distribution of pre-event agenda and run of show to staff
  • Ensure post-event surveys and detailed recaps are distributed to staff
  • Track data through KORE to enhance future events
  • Actively pull CRM data to cultivate the most targeted one-off events for clients
  • Brainstorm original programming for the Premium department to improve member and prospect experiences
  • Provide leadership and initiative with league's outreach tasks by maintaining communication
  • Oversee and maintain signed inventory and merchandise
