Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous leadership experience
  • prior culinary role experience
  • must have or be willing to complete ServSafe Food Handler Certification
  • must have or be willing to complete Alcohol Safety Certification
  • ability to lift and move 20-40 lbs
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience
  • ability to supervise and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment
  • prior culinary experience
  • strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation standards
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Alcohol Safety Certification or willingness to obtain
  • ability to lift and move 20-40 lbs of kitchen supplies or ingredients
  • comfortable working in a high-volume kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise staff
  • train, assign, and direct the work of food-service associates
  • provide feedback and performance appraisals
  • address employee concerns and resolve issues
  • advise management on purchasing needs
  • ensure inventory is well-stocked while minimizing waste
  • guarantee consistent quality using approved food recipes and production standards
  • maintain optimal serving temperatures and proper portion control
  • ensure kitchen equipment is operated safely and cleaned thoroughly
  • follow proper food storage, labeling, and dating procedures
  • maintain established food rotations to reduce waste
  • adhere strictly to HACCP guidelines
  • be present during meal periods to receive customer feedback
  • assist in meal service and address comments or concerns promptly
  • perform other tasks to support kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow
