Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous leadership experience
- prior culinary experience
- ServSafe Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain
- Alcohol Safety Certification or willingness to obtain
- physical ability to lift and move 20-40 lbs
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

- comfortable working in a high-volume kitchen environment
Job Duties
- train, assign, and direct the work of food-service associates, providing feedback and performance appraisals
- address employee concerns and resolve any issues that may arise
- advise management on purchasing needs, ensuring the inventory is well-stocked while focusing on minimizing waste and preventing product shortages
- use approved food recipes and production standards to guarantee consistent quality, optimal serving temperatures, and proper portion control in every dish
- ensure kitchen equipment is operated safely and cleaned thoroughly after each use in accordance with department guidelines
- follow proper food storage, labeling, and dating procedures
- maintain established food rotations to reduce waste and minimize spoilage
- strictly adhere to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines to ensure food safety and maintain a high-quality food supply
- remain present during meal periods to receive direct feedback from customers, assisting in meal service and addressing any comments or concerns promptly
- perform other tasks as needed to support the overall success of kitchen operations and ensure a smooth workflow
