Job Requirements
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Ability to multi-task and take direction from various supervisors
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management, and guests respectfully
- Valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit required by state and federal regulations
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to inventory and sales
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Minimum 2 years bartender experience in a fast-paced, high-volume bar or venue
- Minimum 1-year supervisor or lead experience in the food and hospitality industry
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Ability to work long hours
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Knowledge of sales techniques
- Ability to motivate, support, guide, and strengthen a team
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years bartender experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Minimum 1-year supervisor or lead experience in the food and hospitality industry
- Valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit as required by state and federal regulations
- Ability to calculate basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully in English
- Strong teamwork skills in fast-paced, event-driven settings
- Demonstrated leadership and staff motivation capabilities
Job Duties
- Operate point of sale terminals to ensure proper sales, tracking of all products, and correct cash handling procedures
- Assist management with daily and end of month inventory
- Assist with hiring, training, and supervising bar staff
- Monitor bar inventory, ingredients, and front face all products
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local liquor and food safety regulations
- Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and act accordingly
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
- Communicate responsibilities and protocols clearly to bar staff
- Ensure high-quality customer service and resolve complaints
- Review paperwork, prepare for events, and manage event timelines
