Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years bartender experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume bar/venue capacity
  • Minimum 1-year supervisor/lead experience in the food and hospitality industry
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit required by state and federal regulations
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Ability to work long hours
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to product inventory and sales
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English

Job Duties

  • Operating point of sale terminals to ensure proper sales, tracking of all products, and ensure correct cash handling procedures are followed
  • Assisting management with daily and end of month inventory
  • Staff management: assist with hire, training, and supervising bar staff
  • Monitoring bar inventory, ingredients, rotating, and front facing all products
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, or territorial liquor and food safety regulations
  • Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and acting accordingly with such individuals
  • Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance
  • Communicate with all bar staff in a respectful manner as well making sure all staff follow all protocols and procedures
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and resolve complaints
  • Review paperwork, prepare for events, and manage the event timeline
