Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years bartender experience
  • Minimum 1-year supervisor or lead experience in the food and hospitality industry
  • Valid food handling certificate
  • Alcohol service permit
  • Ability to work long hours

  • Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit required by state and federal regulations
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions as they relate to product inventory and sales
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English

Job Duties

  • Operating point of sale terminals to ensure proper sales, tracking of all products, and ensure correct cash handling procedures are followed
  • Assisting management with daily and end of month inventory
  • Staff management including assisting with hire, training, and supervising bar staff
  • Monitoring bar inventory, ingredients, rotating, and front facing all products
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, or territorial liquor and food safety regulations
  • Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and acting accordingly
  • Demonstrating ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance
  • Communicating with all bar staff in a respectful manner and ensuring all staff follow protocols and procedures
  • Ensuring high-quality customer service and resolving complaints
  • Reviewing paperwork, preparing for events, and managing the event timeline
