Job Requirements

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed and work in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent in guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and state/federal regulations
  • Learn knowledge of beer, wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards
  • Check guest’s ID to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management/security as needed
  • Contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond scope
  • Request additional product or restock as required
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain responsibility for issued bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and bar equipment
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
