Job Requirements

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • accurate cash handling skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to be self-directed while working in a team
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
  • bartending school preferred
  • must have TABC certification

Job Duties

  • Meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and menus to provide service
  • serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • have knowledge of beer wine and spirits and upsell products
  • pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
  • verify guests' ID for minimum age requirements
  • communicate cut-offs to guests as required
  • listen and respond to customer requests and concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • request additional product or restock as required
  • handle cash accurately and manage bar bank
  • maintain clean sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and maintained
  • assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organization of cooler
