- six months or more experience bartending
- accurate cash handling skills
- ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to be self-directed while working in a team environment
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- availability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
- Illinois Basset certification

Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
- follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
- learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
- pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
- check guest's ID in accordance with age verification regulations
- communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
- listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if required
- handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank at the bar
- maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization as required
