Job Qualifications
- High school diploma GED or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of relevant culinary leadership experience in premium dining catering or hospitality
- proven back-of-house lead cook experience
- familiarity with bar operations is a plus
- strong leadership skills with the ability to coach train and develop team members
- strong communication and customer service skills
- commitment to upholding health and safety standards
- ability to maintain a positive attitude and work reliably in a team-oriented environment
Job Duties
- Supervise daily kitchen operations ensuring top-notch food quality and presentation
- inspire and mentor a talented culinary team
- maintain high standards of safety sanitation and efficiency
- collaborate with chefs to create an exceptional dining experience
- lead a high-end culinary team in a premier airport lounge
- work with top-tier ingredients and an elevated menu
- provide support to management in the daily oversight of kitchen and bar operations ensuring smooth service
- supervise train and mentor kitchen and bar staff to foster an engaged high-performing team
- assist in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment for all employees
- facilitate onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing employees
- collaborate with customers to ensure satisfaction in quality service and prompt resolution of issues
- maintain consistency in food quality preparation and presentation
- monitor bar and kitchen operations to ensure compliance with company and client standards
- attend work and report for scheduled shifts on time with regular and reliable attendance
- perform other duties as assigned which may vary depending on business needs and client requirements
