Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of science degree in an accredited construction-related curriculum such as civil engineering or construction management
  • minimum of 7 years of estimating experience
  • proven experience managing preconstruction for large-scale food, beverage, and consumer manufacturing projects
  • ability to build trust and influence others internally and externally
  • strong communication and presentation skills
  • self-starter
  • ability to travel internationally and domestically as required
  • familiarity with construction principles and practices

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in an accredited construction-related curriculum such as Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • over 7 years of estimating experience
  • proven experience managing preconstruction for large-scale food, beverage, and consumer manufacturing projects
  • in-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices
  • experience dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors, or self-perform work
  • strong communication and presentation skills
  • ability to build trust and influence others internally and externally
  • self-starter with a motivated and value-added approach to preconstruction
  • ability to travel internationally and domestically as required

Job Duties

  • Participates in design review meetings
  • reviews and monitors scope, cost, and constructability during design development
  • develops estimate plans and leads estimating teams
  • manages RFI lists and ensures timely completion of estimates
  • builds and maintains subcontractor relationships
  • leads subcontractor bid package development and bid analysis
  • submits project budgets and assists in subcontractor selection
