Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service, front desk, or administrative role
  • Strong communication skills in person, phone, and written
  • Comfortable using basic computer programs including email, Microsoft Office, or Google Workspace
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor especially when interacting with children and parents
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability to work full time

  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Experience working in a preschool, childcare center, or educational environment (preferred)
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or basic bookkeeping (preferred)
  • Familiarity with state childcare licensing procedures (preferred)
  • Creative problem-solving skills and willingness to assist where needed

Job Duties

  • Greet parents, children, and visitors with professionalism and warmth
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and parent inquiries
  • Manage student sign-in/sign-out procedures
  • Collect tuition payments, registration fees, and maintain accurate records
  • Assist with enrollment paperwork and parent communications
  • Maintain front office organization, files, and supplies
  • Support teachers and directors with scheduling, event coordination, and general office tasks
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and licensing requirements when handling documents
