Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in veterinary practice management or related field
- previous experience in a veterinary practice, equine preferred
- demonstrated leadership abilities in managing teams and business operations
- exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- strong understanding of equine lifestyle and terminology
- proficiency with relevant business software and financial management tools
- ability to work flexible hours and step in during staff shortages

Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the practice to ensure efficiency and excellence in client care
- manage HR functions including onboarding, scheduling, performance reviews, and team development
- monitor financial performance-budgeting, profit and loss reporting, and expense management
- support and guide staff to maintain a professional, positive, and collaborative workplace
- partner with leadership to streamline workflow, improve processes, and enhance client experience
- business administration including financials, legal, and insurance matters
- human resources and payroll management
- scheduling for DVMs and technicians
- managing equipment, drugs, and inventory
