Job Requirements

  • Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in biochemistry, chemistry, or related biosciences, or computer science and related fields
  • 0-1 years of postgraduate experience preferred
  • Candidates with more than 5 years of postdoctoral experience are not eligible
  • Ability to conduct independent research
  • Strong computational and experimental skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willingness to mentor students and participate in lab activities
  • Commitment to DEI efforts

Job Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in biochemistry, chemistry, or related biosciences, or computer science and related fields
  • 0-1 years of postgraduate experience preferred
  • Strong background in computational protein design or experimental biochemistry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience mentoring students is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary research teams

Job Duties

  • Conduct research to computationally design and experimentally characterize novel biomolecules
  • Mentor graduate and undergraduate students
  • Participate in and contribute to regular lab meetings
  • Write and publish research results in scientific journals
  • Present research findings at conferences
  • Participate in professional development activities including diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
