Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- availability to work Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push at least 100 lbs
- good command of the English language
- physical endurance to perform maintenance tasks
- willingness to work varied schedules occasionally
- previous porter experience preferred
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of buildings and grounds maintenance a plus
- good verbal communication skills
- interpersonal skills
- ability to make intelligent decisions when needed
- experience as a porter preferred
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain building and grounds complex
- clean elevators, stairways, corridors, windows, floors, laundry rooms, vacant apartments
- clean mirrors, windows, windowsills, and baseboards in all common areas
- dust assigned areas
- sweep and mop entrance lobbies, stairwells, offices and elevator landings
- polish marble and brass
- move materials and furniture as required
- pick up and lift items up to 50 lbs and push a minimum of 100 lbs
- collect trash and transport waste to appropriate area
- put recyclables in appropriate container
- trim trees and shrubs
- fertilize, seed and mow lawn
- sweep and hose sidewalks
- remove snow and spread salts as needed
- keep lobby clean and neat at all times
- perform duties as assigned or requested
