Job Requirements
- At least 12 months of onsite experience
- Possess valid identification
- Ability to perform physical labor
- Reliable transportation

- Basic maintenance knowledge
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- At least 12 months of onsite maintenance or porter experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and climbing
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of maintenance systems including HVAC, plumbing and electrical
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid identification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements
- Maintain snow removal, cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas
- Provide residents with outstanding customer service
- Clean and remove debris from walkways, parking lots, and outdoor areas
- Empty trash cans regularly
- Maintain tools and equipment
- assist with snow and ice removal
- Support maintenance staff with light tasks as needed
- Inspect vacated units and create a punch list of needed repairs
- Paint walls, patch holes, and touch up surfaces
- Replace or repair appliances, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and hardware as needed
- Test and ensure all systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are functioning
- Install blinds, doors, smoke detectors, and other fixtures
- Communicate with property management and maintenance staff about unit status and timelines
- Maintain inventory of supplies and request materials as needed
- Ensure units meet cleanliness and safety standards before move-in
