Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- previous custodial experience preferred
- ability to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures
- ability to work in an upright standing position for long periods
- ability to work in different environmental working conditions such as heat, cold, wind, rain
- walk and climb stairs
- handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
- reach with hands and arms
- ability to navigate property and building quickly and easily as required
- repeat various motions with wrists, hands and fingers
- complete all required forms
- ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner
- climb ladders and work at heights above ground level up to 3 feet

Job Duties
- Sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning
- informs supervisor of needed supplies
- maintains all cleaning solutions in accordance with OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals
- removes trash from premises and assists in emergency cleaning
- properly utilizes new equipment and follows safety procedures prior to use
- maintains friendly and professional attitude
- responsible for maintaining appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas
- inspects assigned areas daily and reports discrepancies and maintenance issues to supervisor
- ensures security procedures are adhered to at all times
- adheres to all safety precautions while performing work
- completes daily work orders as scheduled
- maintains assigned equipment in good working condition
- cleans restrooms including sweeping and mopping floors, refilling dispensers, cleaning toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors and counters
- reports discrepancies or deficiencies to supervisor
- maintains relationship with building staff
- responds to emergencies in a timely manner
- climbs ladders and works at heights above ground level up to 3 feet
