- job duties split about 50 percent inside and 50 percent outside
Job Duties
- Check over restaurant from previous close to ensure a safe and secure environment
- maintain appearance of the building exterior and grounds including landscaping and snow removal
- coordinate job duties with other opening team members to ensure efficient preparation for opening
- take temperatures of required foods upon delivery and document on Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist
- put food orders away in cooler following proper stock rotation protocols
- rotate stock in cooler, freezer and dry storage using First In-First Out method monitoring shelf life and code dates
- maintain basic working knowledge of operation of all restaurant equipment
- complete scheduled maintenance on restaurant equipment according to maintenance calendar
- complete daily duties to be ready to work in kitchen during lunch shift per restaurant if applicable
- report possible incomplete closing areas to opening manager
- complete other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by manager on duty
