Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- capable of lifting furniture pieces over 75 pounds
- experience with showroom or warehouse maintenance preferred
- willingness to travel between stores when needed
- adherence to safety protocols including use of steel toe shoes and back support belt
- ability to perform cleaning and organizational tasks
- good communication skills
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Duties
- Move all furniture and accessories in the showroom
- load and unload merchandise into trucks or clients' vehicles
- assemble merchandise ensuring readiness for showroom display
- assist decorators with spotlight lighting
- pack up furniture and accessories leaving the showroom
- maintain the rug rack
- maintain the showroom exterior
- check furniture complies with security measures
- assist decorators and sales associates with moving heavy pieces
- clean and organize the showroom's warehouse
- assist with inventory audits
- maintain furniture free of damage
- manage the mirrors and frames wall in the showroom
- assist with touch-ups of furniture, floors and walls
- complete required documentation and meet deadlines
- report damaged furniture or accessories
- assist with company event organization and cleanup
- travel to other stores as needed
- clean assigned areas including bathrooms, entryways, offices, and cafeterias
- operate forklift or use ladder for hard-to-reach cleaning tasks
- maintain furniture presentation and arrangement in assigned areas
