Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in furniture handling or showroom maintenance preferred
- ability to operate forklifts and ladders
- physical capability to move heavy furniture
- good communication skills
- must wear steel toe shoes and back support belt
- willingness to travel to other store locations when required
- ability to follow safety and security protocols
- ability to complete company documentation accurately and timely

Job Duties
- Move all furniture and accessories in the showroom
- load and unload merchandise into IST trucks or clients' vehicles
- assemble the merchandise and ensure it is up to standards to be displayed in the showroom
- help decorators with the lighting of furniture displays by following instructions for spotlight placement
- pack up furniture and accessories leaving the showroom
- maintain the rug rack
- maintain the showroom exterior
- check furniture for security measures compliance
- assist decorators and sales associates in moving heavy pieces
- clean and organize the showroom's warehouse
- assist with inventory audits when necessary
- maintain the furniture and keep it free of damage
- manage the mirrors and frames wall in the showroom
- assist with touch-ups of furniture, floors, and walls as necessary
- complete required documentation and submit by deadlines
- report any damaged furniture or accessories
- assist with company events organization and clean-up
- travel to other stores as needed
- clean assigned areas including bathrooms, entrances, offices, stations, cafeterias
- operate forklift and ladder for tasks
- maintain presentation of furniture including making beds and organizing pillows
