Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior maintenance or landscaping experience preferred
- ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to safely use hand and power tools
- ability to safely ascend and descend ladders unassisted
- capable of tolerating exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals and varying weather conditions
- ability to walk, stand, bend, climb, balance, kneel and crawl frequently
- specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focusing
- must have valid state issued ID or driver’s license if required
- excellent attendance and punctuality

- knowledge of landscaping and maintenance tasks

Job Duties
- practice OSHA standards and company safety policy
- participate in safety training and complete hazard assessments
- water plants and manage landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, fertilizing and weeding
- paint exterior buildings and pick up litter daily
- clean and maintain exterior light fixtures and replace light bulbs
- care for pools and maintain grounds equipment
- assist with emergency maintenance and after-hours emergency coverage
- perform scheduled equipment maintenance
- maintain lawn and cleaning equipment
- perform routine pressure washing and blowing of walkways and breezeways
- communicate regularly with supervisors
- report unusual circumstances
- maintain professional appearance and uniform
- ensure security of storage areas and adequate lighting
- assist in custodial work including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and cleaning windows
- assist team members when necessary
