Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license

  • Physical mobility to stand and walk for 8 to 12 hour shifts

Job Duties

  • Oversee tasks assigned to porters by supervisors/manager to maintain the daily appearance of the casino
  • Act as a trainer and mentor for porters and provide guidance and direction in the completion of work activities
  • Perform a variety of general cleaning duties including dusting, scrubbing, wiping, mopping floors, and vacuuming
  • Perform cleaning in various areas such as casino floor machines, dining areas, public spaces, stairwells, elevators, bathrooms, break rooms, and offices
  • Perform carpet care and resilient floor cleaning according to procedures
  • Mix, label, monitor, and properly utilize a variety of approved cleaning products
  • Conduct specialized clean-up operations including blood spill and hazardous material clean-up
  • Follow infection control procedures, including proper hand washing and wearing protective clothing
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols and report hazardous conditions or incidents immediately
  • Act as the go-to person for EVS-related issues in the absence of supervisory staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
