Job Duties
- Oversee tasks assigned to porters by supervisors/manager to maintain the daily appearance of the casino
- Act as a trainer and mentor for porters and provide guidance and direction in the completion of work activities
- Perform a variety of general cleaning duties including dusting, scrubbing, wiping, mopping floors, and vacuuming
- Perform cleaning in various areas such as casino floor machines, dining areas, public spaces, stairwells, elevators, bathrooms, break rooms, and offices
- Perform carpet care and resilient floor cleaning according to procedures
- Mix, label, monitor, and properly utilize a variety of approved cleaning products
- Conduct specialized clean-up operations including blood spill and hazardous material clean-up
- Follow infection control procedures, including proper hand washing and wearing protective clothing
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols and report hazardous conditions or incidents immediately
- Act as the go-to person for EVS-related issues in the absence of supervisory staff
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
