Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous groundskeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
  • Ability to work outside in different weather elements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of safe use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
  • Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property

Job Duties

  • Inspect community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure common areas are neat and free of litter
  • Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments before make-ready process and maintain storage areas
  • Complete minor and routine service requests as assigned by supervisors
  • Change all locks according to property policy and ensure pool gates are functioning and safe
  • Distribute notices and communication to residents as needed
  • Report any hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors
  • Provide excellent customer service by respecting residents, answering questions, and responding to maintenance complaints
