Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- must comply with all state and federal workplace safety regulations, including Cal/OSHA requirements
- may be subject to background checks and/or health screenings as permitted by California law
Job Qualifications
- No prior experience required
- ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, memos, and safety information
- basic knowledge of cleaning techniques preferred
- good physical stamina and manual dexterity
- strong attention to detail
- ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Dust furniture and equipment
- clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
- sweep, scrub, finish, and polish floors
- clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
- polish metal fixtures and surfaces
- wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
- empty trash receptacles and ashtrays
- clean and disinfect as necessary
- safely transport trash and waste to designated disposal areas
- follow proper procedures for handling cleaning agents and chemicals
- adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times
- perform other related duties as assigned
