Job Requirements

- prior experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy items
- valid driver’s license preferred
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- ability to comply with safety regulations

Job Duties
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings
- ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
- remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to the make-ready process
- transfer trash to dumpster or storage area as applicable
- clean and maintain storage areas
- complete assigned minor and routine service requests as requested by Service Supervisor or Community Manager
- assist the make-ready specialist in the turn process
- change all locks in accordance with the property’s policy
- ensure gates to all pool areas are working according to codes and safety standards
- distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary
- inform appropriate supervisors of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation
- demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents respectfully, answering questions, and responding to complaints
- comply with Greystar’s safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings, completing training, and reporting accidents promptly
