Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of either restaurant experience, warehouse experience, and/or customer service experience
- stand up to 10 hours per day
- sit up to 1 hour
- push/pull up to 50lbs unassisted 1-2 hours per day
- overhead reach up to 6 hours per day
- walk up to 10 hours per day
- lift/carry up to 25lbs unassisted 1-2 hours per day
- climb ladder or stairs up to 3 hours per day
- kneel/crouch up to 6 hours per day
- upper body twist up to 6 hours per day
- ability to work in temperatures over 80 degrees up to 3 hours per day
- candidate must be capable of safely performing the physical requirements of the job
- candidate may be required to complete a pre-employment questionnaire and/or physical to confirm these capabilities which may include a medical history review
- must conform to U.S. Government export regulations by being a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or be eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of restaurant, warehouse, or customer service experience
- restaurant experience preferred
- porter experience preferred
- inventory experience preferred
- self-motivated and works well with others
- current and valid food handler card or equivalent
Job Duties
- Demonstrate sanitation and food safety practices consistently
- help evaluate receiving spaces to ensure a safe and secure environment
- complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks timely and accurately
- follow company safety standards at all times and look out for the safety of other team members and guests
- coordinate job duties around other opening team members to help ensure efficient preparation for opening
- put food order away accurately, rotate stock in cooler, freezer, and dry storage area using the first in-first out (FIFO) method while monitoring shelf life and code dates
- maintain a basic working knowledge of the operation of all the equipment in the restaurant
- complete other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager on duty
