Job Requirements
- must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally
- ability to handle heavy-duty equipment
- must be able to push and pull heavy duty equipment
- prolonged walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, and kneeling without restriction
- ability to withstand working with chemicals and noise of equipment
- ability to work at a steady pace to ensure that department schedule is kept
Job Qualifications
- one year experience working as a porter within casino environment preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English language including speaking and reading
- experience working with variety of chemicals and standard cleaning equipment
- ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- good customer service skills and employee relations skills
- ability to work well with others and with minimum supervision
Job Duties
- get ready for shift including gathering garbage bags, gloves, chemicals, and supplies
- proceed to assigned section and follow daily assignment sheet
- clean, sanitize, and maintain public restrooms per assignment sheet
- sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and empty trash cans and ashtrays throughout casino property
- wipe down all slot machines and chairs from dust, fingerprints, and spills
- ensure all casino areas are free from spills, mishaps, and unauthorized eating or drinking utensils
- clean and maintain outside areas including stairways, parking lot, and hallways
- clean glass doors, mirrors, walls, equipment, and furniture inside and outside the building
- clean admin areas and empty trash according to supervisor instructions and standards
