Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and safety protocols
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform cleaning duties
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Required to gain an extensive knowledge of the proper use and cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment including but not limited to steamers, ovens, mixers, grills, and dishwashing equipment
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of basic sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Implement, oversee and follow up on all sanitation standards and procedures
- Responsible for ensuring food service equipment is secure and maintained in proper order
- Oversee and maintain the supply of necessary equipment
- Train and guide porter staff on job duties and proper safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized, also ensuring waste removal and recycling
- Maintain and clean a dishwashing station, three compartment sink, storerooms, refrigerators, and related areas
- Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition
- report any issues to management
- Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc
- Adhere to Levy safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- Perform other duties as assigned
