Job Requirements

  • Must be able to successfully pass a thorough background check
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Gaming License as required by the City of Chula Vista
  • Ability to stand frequently and sit occasionally
  • Ability to walk and reach frequently
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
  • Ability to use hand dexterity frequently
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to see close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjust focus
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with management and guests

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 6 months related experience and/or training preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Maintain clean and professional gaming floor environment
  • Clean and maintain restrooms
  • Pick up papers, trays, and recycle boxes from gaming floor and guest areas
  • Assist Bussers with bar area cleaning
  • Circulate gaming floor and dining room to promote teamwork
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with guests to provide superior gaming and dining experience
  • Report underage, intoxicated, or disruptive individuals to management or security
