Job Requirements
- Must be able to successfully pass a thorough background check from the City of Chula Vista to obtain a Gaming License
- Must be able to renew and maintain an active Gaming License according to city requirements
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Minimum of six months related experience or training preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members
- Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various types of instructions in written oral diagram or schedule form
Job Duties
- Present the casino in a professional attractive manner by maintaining a clean environment including the gaming floor and restrooms
- Assist bussers in cleaning the bar area
- Promote teamwork by circulating the gaming floor and dining room to maximize availability and assist team members as needed
- Provide a fun superior gaming and dining experience by establishing and maintaining good rapport with guests to promote continued patronage
- Attend annual BSA/AML training as scheduled
- Report to casino shift manager or security any individuals who appear underage intoxicated exhibit illegal conduct or pose a threat to operations
