Job Requirements
- None education level required
- Prior experience in porter, janitorial, or custodial work preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally 100 lbs
- Capability to work outdoors in snowy, cold conditions
- Ability to operate snow removal equipment
- Must ride gondola for commuting to Schaffers Camp
- Ability to stand, walk, and work in wet, icy, and confined spaces
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
- Completion of Bloodborne Pathogen Training, Heat Illness Prevention, Workplace Violence Prevention, and Harassment Prevention Training
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish
- Possession of California Food Handlers Card
Job Qualifications
- Prior porter, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- English proficiency required, Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
- Ability to read and speak English and/or Spanish to understand job duties and safety protocols
- California Food Handlers Card and required safety training
Job Duties
- Arrive on time and ready for daily lineup
- Clean and reset all FOH spaces including entryways, dining rooms, restrooms, walkways, and public areas throughout each shift
- Remove snow and ice from building entrances, decks, walkways, gondola landing, emergency exits, and outdoor guest spaces
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, dispose of trash and recycling promptly
- Perform periodic deep cleaning and special projects in FOH areas such as windows, carpets, brass, and furniture
- Monitor weather conditions and adapt snow removal schedule as required
- Assist with moving and organizing furniture and support special event setups
- Report maintenance issues and perform basic repairs such as changing bulbs
- Uphold all safety, health, and sanitation standards including proper chemical handling
- Attend staff meetings and assist during peak periods or emergencies
