Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to operate golf carts on property
  • prior experience in maintenance or custodial work preferred
  • ability to lift and carry heavy items
  • good communication skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings
  • ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter
  • remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments before make-ready process
  • transfer trash to dumpster or storage areas
  • clean and maintain storage areas
  • complete assigned minor and routine service requests
  • assist make-ready specialist in turn process
  • change all locks according to property policy
  • ensure gates to pool areas comply with safety codes
  • distribute notices and communications to residents
  • inform supervisors of hazards or dangerous situations
  • demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents with respect and responding to complaints
  • comply with safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings and reporting incidents promptly
