Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to perform physical exertion including frequent walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for entire shifts
  • capability to lift 50 to 75 pounds periodically
  • willingness to work any day of the week with occasional additional hours
  • experience in janitorial or housekeeping duties in a spa setting preferred
  • successful completion of hazardous material and bloodborne pathogens training within 3-6 months
  • knowledge and experience with floor care machines preferred, punctual and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience performing positively and achieving objective-based results
  • demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work
  • experience in janitorial or housekeeping duties specifically in a spa setting is preferred
  • knowledge and experience with floor care machines such as buffers and extractors is preferred
  • successful completion of hazardous material and bloodborne pathogens training within 3-6 months

Job Duties

  • Removes all trash continuously throughout casino and spa areas including floors between slot machines and trash receptacles
  • operates and maintains various cleaning equipment and supplies employees with cleaning tools and premixed chemicals
  • cleans and maintains the exterior appearance of the casino, including snow and ice removal
  • monitors all parking lots for trash removal, sweeping cigarette trash, and emptying outdoor smoking receptacles
  • vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors within the casino and spa
  • cleans, sanitizes, and maintains guest and employee restrooms ensuring they are stocked
  • cleans and sanitizes spa treatment rooms, relaxation areas, locker rooms, lobby, wet rooms, pool deck, fitness center, and yoga room
  • maintains a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions
  • maintains good public relations with guests and employees while providing a source of information for guests
  • ensures regular and reliable attendance and punctuality to support business operations
